Ku klux klan

Hi boys and girls. We are having our presentation about the Ku Klux Klan. Also named as the KKK. The KKK is an organisation all over the world which is against black people and other society groops. It’s a extremely fascistic organisation. They have a violent reputation. We hope that after ouer presentation it will be clear why they have a bad reputation according to most off the people. And why the KKK thinks that they are doing a good thing. We will tell you something about their history,

History

The KKK was establsihed in 1865, after the Americain civil war. It was established by 6 ex-soldiers in Pulaski. They were against the rebuilding of the Americain gouverment and decided they had to protect the with people against the black people. They established a klan, that’s a sort of club, because they were bored with having no job. They also put the word Kuklux in the name and that means circle in greeks. So that’s how the name is arised. Kuklux says something about the alliance between the members and Klan says something about the Irish or Scottish background. The group wasnt very big. They found some followers, but they worked on a very small scale and made only a few attacks on black people.
The KKK got a lot more mebers around 1870. The attacks started to happen more frequently and a lot of black people were killed by the clan. At the end of the 19th century the Klan almost dissapeared because of a lot of international conflicts. Until the 19the century the KKK operated only in the southern states of America.
15 years later the Klan was re- established by William Simmons. From that day the Klan was named as the The Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. He changed some things in the principles of the group. Namely they already were against black people but from that moment they were also against jewish people. The knights of the Ku Klux Klan also had members in the northern parts of America.
After world ware 1 the group grew very fast. That was because off the bad economy in America. In 1924 they had over 4 million members all over America.
IN 1944 the klan was almost finished again. But it was re-established by Samual Green. This Klan started to use the telivision. That’s how they became famous al over the world. They didn’t act in a mystirious way but they started to make claims about there actions on national TV. The Klan used the telivision to promot them slefs and to make new members, but the TV also used them. When the KKK was on television they had a lot of more vieuwers. So because of the media they get famous al over the world. Even in some Europies coutries were established some groups. Also in Belgium there is a division of the Klan.

Clothes of the KKK

The clothes of the KKK members have changed during the history. When the group were established for the first time everybody wore a with suite. They wore a with sheet and a with pillowcase over their heads. That was because the members of the KKK were very poor. Members of the KKK think that wearing a with suite means that you belong to the army of God. For them the colour with symbolises the purity of a person.
Later , the klan security force started to wear black suites. That’s why another name for the KKK security force is NIGHTHAWKS.
From 1920 some members alos wore other colours. The person with the highest rank, that’s the Imperial Wizard, wore a purple suite. A local leader wore a green suit. At the moment all the KKK members wear the same colour of costume. There are some occasions they sometimes wear different colours. That’s for instance by weddings.

Cross lightning

sometimes they wear different colours when they are doing a cross lightning. A cross lightning is a ceremony in which members gather to burn a big cross. Often the cross will be standing upon a hill or on somebody’s land.With this burning cross the KKK is warning the enemy. The cross lightning is still the most important way of protest. The KKK can’t protest on another way in the America, because several states forbid protests off the KKK. That’s why they often covere their faces when they are lightning a cross.
Now we will show you a part of Bad Boys 2. You can see on the video a group of KKK members who are lightning a cross. They don’t wear coloured sheets.

The KKK now

The biggest enemies of the KKK are still the black people in america. Followers of the Klan want the not Aryan people, Aryan peoples are the peoples who…………………………………………………………………………………, to return to their own coutnry. When they don’t they should work as slaves for the with people. They are also against universal suffrage
So the KKK is also against the right to vote for black people. But the list of enemies is bigger now as well. Today, the KKK is also against communist, homosexsuals, drugaddicts and people who are on benefit. The KKK has a very claer and according to them a simple understanding on the subject of homosexuality. They say that being homosexcual is unnatural. Their conclusion about homosexsuals is that it sin’t legal so that should be distroyed. They do a lot of actions to scare the enemies off and that’s why cross lightning is so important. It scares the enemies. Now we don’t hear a lot of the KKK anymore. That’s because their ideas are bad for America and the rest of the world. Although America helped the Klan with their campaigns in the early days, they are doing everything to stop them now. The members of the KKK is going backward. They had over the 4 millions members but now that number is become 6000.

Violent and bloody actions off the KKK

The KKK started with violent actions in the19the century. The first example off violent at black people is when they tortured 300 black people so badly that they couldn’t even walk anymore. But that is just child’s play when you compare it with other activities they did. They have murdered many black people, only because of their colour skins. The Klan denies that they have murdered a lot of alien people in the past. Alien people is the name they use for men and women who arent of the Aryan race. They admit that a few enemies are killed by members of the KKK. But they say that they banished those members. It’s a kind of strange that the KKK use violence. Because the law off the KKK says that the members of the KKK aren’t able to use any violence. But they do it. And now is the question why they do it?why do they attack black people and why to they organise those bloody actions?
Before you can understand that, you have to know something about the KKK convictions. They say that the most important reason for practicing racial segregation is their Heavenly Fathers law. Which means that they believe that the bible is full off instructions for practicing segragation. For example: Leviticus 20:24 says: I am the Lord thy God which have separated you from other people. This means that God want that the black and with people are seperated. That’s what they think and because of that they believe that everything what they do i correct. They hava found more of those kind of tekstes in the bible.
We alsohave the YAHWEH. That means that the different peoples in the world were never suppose to mix. Even the different animals and species were never suppose to mix. That is a clear example against race mixing. The members off the KKK also believe in this conviction.

Opinion

I think that the KKK isn’t a good organisation as they think they are. They kill and scare a lot off inocint people only because they are different then they are. They maybe do it because of their religious conviction , but what they do isn’t good. Whatever the bible says.

Membership!!

the Ku Klux Klan is not a mail order group. What this means is in order to join this Klan you would have to meet with it's members in person several times before membership would be approved. Because of this the Ku Klux Klan is not a organization, but it is a family. In fact the word Klan means family. If you join this group you can’t get automatically a higher rank. It is just like the US army. First you have to follow the education it takes to be become a officer or something like that. then you have to prove that you are worth to be a Officer. The klan is some kind of army with all differents ranks.
If you want to be a member of the klan you have to be a Christian. A pure Christian that means that if you follow a “jewish’version of the christian fait you can;t be a member. Also you have to be 100% white. They don’t accept race-mixing. It doesn’t matter if you a brown black yellow indians or jews, they won;t let you being part of the klan. You just have to be 100 % white.
On the internet we have found seriues organizations where you can be become a member of. If you want to be a member they admire you to come to Texas for a personal interview. If it isn’t possible to come to Texas you have to fill in a form and if they think you could be a member of the Klan they send you are form with other organizations near by your home.
Also they admire books, like ‘Soldiers of God’. That Book is about the life of a Klanman and Why he is a member of the Klan.

What does a Meber of the Ku Klux Klan think and why is he/she a member?

A member of the Ku Klux Klan operated in the name of God. They say that everything they do is in the name of God. the Klan feels so storngely about recemixing because in the Bible stand a few phrases about seperating. For Example: So shall we be seperated: I and other people, from all the people that are upon the face of earth. Race-minxing is against God’s Law and it’s the forces of evil that want them to sin agianst the Father in Heaven. That is what they think and because of that they really believe that everything they do is correct.
The biggest failure of the Americansis that they let intergration happend. they think that because of that the American Economy is not good and will become worser. In Japen is a great Economy. That is because the Japanies were against intergration. There are not many mixed races.
