What is the definition of a good teacher?
First of all, there is no perfect teacher, everyone have their own bad habits which is good.
But what really makes a teacher a good teacher?
The basic thing is that a teacher should teach and know what he is teaching about.
But this way of teaching is surpassed and it needs more aspects than just that.
What is very important whit teachers is that they have to be patient even though it’s hard sometimes- many student take advantage by this way.
What also is important is curiosity, if a teacher is (always) happy and excited about the subject their about to handle for today and so on the student will automatically get the attention of the teacher, and they start to like the subject.
Also you have to make the subject interesting for them, do things which will draw their interests, this is very important when you are studying for the exams, everything just goes faster and easier.
I think one big issue is that some teachers don’t know much about other people religion or their own personal feelings or culture.
So this could create a argument.
A teacher is very abstract and in a way a stranger who seems mysterious to the students.
You have to try to be their friends and know what they like or eat or anything.
You have to let them know that they can count on you.
Education is progress (you don’t just teach them how to read or how to make an computer) also in the society and at home or even at school, the students must have discipline and order.
That means that you have to be sort of second parent, you have also got to teach them how to behave properly.
Communication is also a big deal, you have to get trough the students mind things could get ugly if both parties don’t know how to talk to each other.
All this sounds quite like a big task, but that’s not the case at all.
If the teacher stays happy then the students will follow the example.
And that makes a teacher a good teacher.
