Hoofdpersoon: Tom Smith: Tom is de verloofde van Angela en hij komt uit Engeland. Hij komt zijn verloofde opzoeken in Istanbul. Daar komt hij erachter dat ze dood is, maar hij vertrouwd de zaak niet en gaat op onderzoek uit met zijn vriend Kemal die hij in het vliegtuig naar Istanbul heeft ontmoet.

Bijpersonen: Angela: is de verloofde van Tom die in Istanbul werkt, Kemal: is de vriend van Tom die hij in het vliegtuig naar Istanbul heeft ontmoet. Hij studeert in Londen maar hij gaat in de vakantie zijn ouders in Istanbul opzoeken, Mr Pennington: is ook degene die de man in de grijze regenjas op Tom afstuurde om hem in de gaten te houden. Hij is de ambassadeur van Engeland en weet dat er iets  mis is aan de dood van Angela en uiteindelijk red hij Tom en Kemal uit de handen van Dunya, Mr Dunya: is de slechterik uit dit verhaal. Hij is de baas van Angela . Alleen Angela komt achter zijn tweede baantje, hij is eigenaar van een drugslab. dus daarom kidnapt hij Angela en faked haar dood. Hij houdt Tom voor de gek en ontvoerd Tom en Kemal ook om ze te vermoorden. Maar gelukkig komt Mr Pennington net optijd en Dunya wordt door de politie gepakt.

Samenvatting in het engels:

h1: Tom is on the plane to Istanbul to see his fiancee Angela because she works there. While he is in the plane he talks with a guy named Kemal who studys in Londen but is going to his parents for the holiday. Kemal gave him is number for incase he need anything .

h2: Tom is in the hotel in Istanbul waiting for his fiancee at the american bar. She is three hours to late and he is getting worried and a man is watching him.

h3: Tom cant find Angela in her appartment. Tom meets Mr Dunya her boss and he tells Tom that Angela is dead cause she had a car accident.

h4: Tom calls Kemal to meet anywhere cause he is sure he is alive cause he saw Angela on the bus from the plane between two men walking in a building.

h5: Kemal and Tom went to the place where Tom saw Angela. Kemal said that they have to be patient and they got lunch.

h6: Tom talks with mr pennington about the case of Angela her dead and car acciedent. And he says that the file is closed.

h7: Tom and Kemal went to a tourist attraction named the tekapi palace. The man in the grey raincoat is folowing them and now they seperated. and Kemal will call Tom tonight.

h8:Tom talked with a friend of Angela who also Thinks there is something weird about Angela her dead.

h9: Tom got a plan to trick Dunya. He is going to Dunya his office to say goodbye to him and now they wont be followed. and actually Tom stays in Istanbul.

h10: They went to Dunya his villa and they know that Angela is in the villa of Dunya.

h11: Kemal brings stuff to Dunya for selling and now he can look at Dunya his office. soon they are going to break in.

h12: They broke in and found out it is a druglab. The guys grabbed them. Now they are prissoners.

h 13: The guys brought Tom and Kemal to Dunya in his villa he said he is going to kill them. but then there is Angela. Then there is the police who caught Dunya and his helpers and Mr Pennington.

h14: Tom , Angela, Kemal an Mr Pennington are relaxing in Mr Pennington his flat. Dunya kidnapped Angela because she knew to much about his secret life and he faked her dead. Now they are going to have hopefully a quiet holliday.

THE END

mening: ik vond het een spannende thriller met een goede verhaallijn en ik denk dat het best echt zou kunnen gebeuren. het is chronologisch verteld met enkele flashbacks.
