The book is about a man. His name is Larry Bakewell. He is a cook and he looks for a job in the mountains. He found a job in the mountains of Afghanistan. Together with a few other people he looks for the monster; The Toruk. They don’t find him.

It is a book with a lot of adventure in it. It is exciting because you want to know what the Toruk looks like. It has a very unexpected ending because you don’t know what the Toruk looks like. What I think about the book is that it was easy to read.

The most important chapters are when the professor made the Toruk’s claws. He cheats the people about the Toruk’s claws. Because he wants the people To believe him. And one night Larry Bakewell woke up and heard strange noises. He stood up and looked outside what was happening. Suddenly he saw the professor who made claws of the Toruk. Larry watched the professor in amazement. Professor Lugner was holding a huge claw in his hands! He was making the Toruk’s Claw marks. And the next day the professor said: ‘The Toruk lives! They will see! The Toruk lives!’ Sometimes the professors looked towards the tents. Larry hid behind the rocks. The professor did not see him. This is important because, you'll find out that the Toruk not lived.

Larry Bakewell: He is a man who is a cook. He is 26 years old and has short and dark hair and he has a beard. He loves to climb mountains. He is a very clever man and he knows what his goal is. I think he is a nice man and he is sympathtic. And he is very brave that he loves to climb mountains because it is very dangerous. And he knows that there has been a Toruk.
7. Give your opinion as a reader on the book as a whole and give arguments for/ explain your feelings. (75 words)
I like the book because sometimes it is very exciting. I enjoyed reading this book. It was an easy book to read with short chapters and easy words. I read it in four hours. I understand everything about the book. The story about the Toruk made it very interesting. You want to know what will happening with the Toruk and Larry.
