Summary: In the book Charlie and the chocolate factory, has Charlie been the new chief of the factory from Willy Wonka. Charlie, grandpa Joe and Willy Wonka were going to pickup the rest of the family with the Great Glass Elevator (GGE). They went threw the roof of the factory, flied to a small house at the end of the city, where Charlie with his family lived. They went there also threw the roof, picked the family up and went back to the factory. The way back was difficult, they most have a terrific speed if they want threw the roof of the factory. So they go up and up until they nearly go TOO high. Then would Willy Wonka press the bottom ‘back’, but at that moment grandma Josephine grabbed him. They were going TOO high. They went in to the space. Then they came by the Space Hotel ‘U.S.A.’ and his Transport Capsule, which brought people to the Space Hotel. The Transport Capsule had filmed the GGE with a unclear outside camera. Whereby the President of the U.S.A thought that they were man from Mars. They went with the GGE to the Space Hotel ‘U.S.A’ and linked up. They went inside en there spoke the president with a loudspeaker to them. A bit later went the GGE back, because they had seen the ‘Knids’ (real man from Mars), the Americans saw them return. The Transport Capsule linked also up with the Space Hotel, and they saw the ‘Knids’ too! They escaped also but the Knids chased them. Charlie, Mr. Wonka and de rest saw them and they would help them. Charlie, his family and Mr. Wonka had saved the people in the Transport Capsule and brought them back to earth. The GGE went back to the factory (this is seen by a American satellite). After what problems and stuff with the ‘Wonka Vite’ there came a Oompa Loompa run to them with a big letter. The letter was brought by a helicopter, which waited outside. The letter was a inviting from the president to come to the White House. The grandpa’s and the grandma’s from Charlie wished to go with them, but the bed (where they lay in for at least 20 years) couldn’t into the helicopter. So they must out of bed, and so they all went to the White House.
