What was the birmingham campaign
The Birmingham campaign, also known as the Birmingham Movement or the Birmingham Confrontation was a movement organized by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in early 1963 to bring attention to the integration efforts of African Americans in Birmingham and Alabama.
Frederick Lee "Fred" Shuttlesworth, born Fred Lee Robinson is an American civil rights activist in Alabama. As a pastor, Birmingham, MA, led the fight against apartheid and other racism.
When was the Birmingham Campaign
Protests in Birmingham started on 3 April 1963
Black History. In the spring of 1963, activists in Birmingham, Alabama, launched one of the most influential civil rights movements: Project C, the Birmingham Movement.
In 1963, peaceful civil rights protesters faced police dogs and fire hoses in their fight for freedom and equality, and the world's attention shifted to Birmingham, Alabama. In the second half of that year, four girls were killed in an explosion at the 16th Street Baptist Church.
Why was the Birmingham Campaign organised
So that there is more order and that everyone is equal. And less racist remarks thrown at words and that people pay more attention to what they say and no longer see any difference so everyone should be treated equally.
Why was Birmingham so important?
It was a KKK stronghold and King described it as America's worst city for racism. City businessmen actually believed that racism held back the city but their voices were usually quiet.Birmingham has become a really big city. During the Second World War, Birmingham was an important city in Great Britain. They made a lot of ammunition and weapons in Birmingham and even made airplanes of limited size. Even without Birmingham, England could become a German.
History of slavery
By removing the widespread belief that black slavery is a unique system in the South, i.e. that black slavery exists only on plantations and more or less constantly, the interactive timetable is introduced. The face of slavery is constantly changing. It exists in the North as well as in the South. After the Revolutionary War, many white colonies began to realize that slavery was immoral and unjust. They took action to abolish slavery, but they did it in their own time and supported their agenda.

We found it very instructive to make it because, we think slavery is an important subject to be able to talk about and we also find it very special that people are treated this way and now we still hope that we can give you a better view of the subject of slavery.
